1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your device and your choices between pages and between visits. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage, web beacons and pixels — serve the same purpose and are covered by this policy as if they were cookies.
Cookies can be first-party (set by the Site) or third-party (set by another domain whose content appears on the Site). They can be session cookies, deleted when you close your browser, or persistent cookies, which stay on your device until they expire or you delete them.
2. How we use cookies
The Site is a marketing and information site. It does not require an account and does not run advertising. We use cookies for one purpose today: to remember the cookie choice you make in the consent banner. We do not currently use analytics or marketing cookies.
If we introduce analytics or marketing tools in the future, they will be classed in the categories below and will remain switched off until you turn them on in the consent banner. This policy will be updated at the same time.
3. Categories of cookies
| Category | Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required for the Site to function and to honour your choices, such as remembering whether you accepted or rejected other cookies. Cannot be switched off. | Legitimate interests (operating the Site). |
| Analytics | Would let us measure how visitors use the Site (pages viewed, time on page, referring site) so we can improve it. Not currently in use. | Consent. |
| Marketing | Would let us measure the performance of campaigns and show relevant content on other platforms. Not currently in use. | Consent. |
4. Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
cookie_consent | First-party, strictly necessary | Records the choice you made in the consent banner (accepted categories, date of decision, policy version) so the banner is not shown again and your preference is honoured. The same value is mirrored to browser local storage as a fallback. | 12 months |
No other first-party cookies are set by the Site. Fonts and media are served from our own domain and do not set cookies.
5. Third-party content
The interactive 3D scene on the home page is loaded from Spline (prod.spline.design). Loading it means your browser sends a standard request to that domain, including your IP address and browser type. Spline does not set cookies that we make use of, and we do not share personal data with Spline for advertising. Spline’s own privacy practices are described at spline.design/privacy.
The Site contains links to third-party sites (for example our social media profiles). Those sites set their own cookies under their own policies once you leave the Site.
6. Your choices
You can control cookies in three ways:
- Consent banner. On your first visit the banner lets you accept all categories, accept only strictly necessary cookies, or manage each category. You can reopen it at any time with the link in the footer of every page.
- Browser settings. Every modern browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, either for all sites or for individual ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Site from working, and will cause the consent banner to reappear.
- Deleting the consent cookie. Clearing
cookie_consent(and the Site’s local storage) resets your choice; you will be asked again on your next visit.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy whenever the cookies we use change — in particular before any analytics or marketing tool is introduced. Material changes reset the stored consent version, so you will be asked to choose again. The current version of this policy is always available on this page.
